A set of four mouth-blown flutes hand painted with iridescent lustre. The bowls have a subtly-fluted texture which fades towards the rim. Mouth-blown glass. Subtly-fluted texture at base of bowl. Bowls hand painted with pearlescent lustre. Hand-drawn stems. Dimensions: Capacity: 250ml, Height: 23cm, Width: 6cm. Due to their handmade nature, the size of these items may vary slightly. Style code: PE04. Materials & making: Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers to create a champagne flute with a subtly-fluted texture. The stem is drawn from the bowl while the glass is still malleable and a foot is applied by hand using wooden tools. Hand painted with an iridescent lustre and fired to achieve the pearlescent finish.

LSA International design and create contemporary, handmade glassware from their London-based studio. Co-founded in the 1960s by Janusz Lubkowski, today the company’s Designer & Creative Director is his daughter, Monika Lubkowska-Jonas. LSA’s first ever product was a classic enamelled coffee pot, which sold in Terence Conran’s Habitat stores. Then and now, LSA International is committed to original design, quality materials and expert craftsmanship. Monika continues her father’s vision and works to ensure that the company’s heritage is reflected in the provenance of their products.
